A friend called Sunday afternoon and suggested the circus. I hadn't planned on a circus, and I hadn't been to one since my daughter was a young girl, but I dropped what I was doing and headed that direction. It was a fun few hours of colorful clowns, brilliant music and mind-boggling feats. Ah. Teamwork and dedication. Powerful tools indeed.
It's been many a moon since I went to the circus, too, and I've only been once in my life. I decided it was just too hard on my nerves... those death-defying feats!
ReplyDeleteI just realized reading this that I have no point of reference because I have never been to the circus. In our town, the rodeo came every year, but never the circus.
